Cardiff: South Wales Police are still on the hunt for Charlene Hobbs, who’s been missing for six months now. They’ve got specialist teams out there searching through the woods, hoping to find any sign of her. The last time anyone saw her was on July 23 at a Morrisons store in Adamsdown, but a photo taken the next day showed she was in Broadway.

On Wednesday, a police spokesperson mentioned that folks might notice more officers around as the search ramps up. They’re particularly asking people in Roath and Splott to check their sheds and outbuildings, just in case.

Charlene, who’s 35, has been missing since July, and the police have been searching everywhere—abandoned buildings, cars, and open land—but so far, no luck. They’ve shared several photos of her, highlighting a unique dragon tattoo on her back.

Detective Chief Inspector Matt Powell said they’re using specialist teams to look for any clues about where Charlene might be. They’re also talking to locals who might have information and handing out leaflets in key areas.

He mentioned that there are several possibilities regarding her disappearance, and they’re keeping an open mind. He believes that the community holds the key to finding her. Every little bit of information could help, and it can be shared anonymously if needed. Charlene is loved by many—she’s a mother, sister, daughter, and friend, and everyone is worried about her.
