Authorities are actively searching for twin sisters last seen on CCTV in Aberdeen, with the River Dee being a key focus of the investigation
Police are focusing their efforts on the River Dee since there’s no sign they left the area. Chief Inspector Darren Bruce mentioned that the family is understandably worried, and they’re doing everything they can to find the sisters.
The search is pretty intense, with helicopters, marine units, and even dogs involved. They’re expanding their search towards the Port of Aberdeen’s South Harbour. The twins are described as white, slim, and have long brown hair. They moved from Hungary to Scotland about seven years ago and are part of a close-knit family.
Authorities are working with their relatives in Hungary to provide support during this tough time. Chief Inspector Bruce is urging local businesses to check their CCTV footage from early Tuesday morning. They’re also interested in any dashcam footage that might help.
Anyone with information should reach out to the police by calling 101 and quoting the incident number. The community is really coming together to help find the sisters, and every little bit of information could make a difference.
