Hanley: It’s been quite a while since the chaos erupted in the city. Police are still on the hunt for 29 men and one woman linked to the riots that took place 159 days ago. They’ve released images of these individuals, hoping someone might recognize them.

The trouble kicked off on August 3, when a large protest took over the city center. It got pretty wild, with around 100 police officers showing up, equipped with riot shields and dogs, to manage the situation.

Things escalated quickly, especially near the Darul Falah mosque, where groups of men clashed with the protesters. Some were even carrying weapons, which made the whole scene even more intense.

Staffordshire Police are urging anyone with information to step forward. They’ve already made over 200 arrests related to the riots, with many people now behind bars. A total of 65 individuals have been charged, and the sentences add up to more than 75 years.

Assistant Chief Constable Stuart Ellison has made it clear that they’re not letting this go. He emphasized that many officers faced serious danger that day, and they’re committed to bringing everyone involved to justice.

Ellison warned those still at large that their time will come. He mentioned how hard the investigation team is working, reviewing footage to track down those responsible for the violence.

If you have any tips or information, you can reach out to the police through their Major Incident Portal. They’re determined to keep pushing forward until everyone involved is held accountable.
