Mansfield: So, there was this wild incident where a woman almost had her handbag snatched by some moped riders. It happened on Jubilee Way North, and it was around 6:25 PM on a Saturday.

Luckily, she managed to hold on to her bag and ran into a nearby house. The moped riders took off, but the police are on it. They mentioned that the moped had a broken number plate and some front-end damage.

Just a day later, they arrested a 19-year-old guy on suspicion of attempted robbery. But they’re still looking for the other suspects. They really want to hear from anyone who saw what went down, especially the woman who was targeted.

Detective Inspector Mark Booth said it’s a serious situation and they want to talk to anyone who might have info. If you were there or know anything, they’d love to hear from you.

Police are asking folks to call 101 and mention incident 425 from January 4. You can also reach out to Crimestoppers if you want to stay anonymous.
