Gwent Police are asking for information after a 13-year-old was robbed of his bike by two men armed with a knife and hammer in Cwmbran
Cwmbran: So, there was this really scary incident where a 13-year-old boy got robbed. It happened in Henllys, and it’s just awful. The kid was just riding his bike when two guys in black, wearing balaclavas, came up to him.
They had a knife and a hammer, which is just insane. The boy’s granddad said he was held at knife point. Can you imagine? He had just gotten that bike as a Christmas gift, and it was worth about £4,500!
The robbery took place near the Dorallt Inn, and the police are really hoping someone saw something. They want anyone who was around Dorallt Close between 4:25 and 4:35 PM on December 30 to come forward.
Luckily, the boy wasn’t hurt, but it must have been terrifying for him. The police even sent in specialist officers to search the area. They’re looking for any CCTV or dashcam footage that might help catch these guys.
If you know anything, you can reach out to the police through their website or even message them on social media. They’re really eager to get to the bottom of this.
