Gwent Police are appealing for information on Kyle Vaughan, who vanished 12 years ago, urging the public to help solve the mystery.
Newbridge: It’s been 12 long years since Kyle Vaughan went missing, and Gwent Police are back at it, asking for help to find him. Kyle was just 24 when he disappeared on December 30, 2012, after a car crash on the A467. His silver Peugeot 306 was involved, but no other cars were reported in the incident.
Initially, the police thought it was a missing person case, but it soon turned into a murder investigation. They even arrested eight people, but sadly, no one was charged. Now, they’ve set up an online portal for anyone with even the tiniest bit of info about Kyle to come forward.
Detective Chief Superintendent Andrew Tuck is leading the investigation. He mentioned that Kyle would be 36 now and that they’re still following up on any leads. His family has been left with so many questions, and the police keep in touch with them as they work to uncover the truth.
Kyle’s dad, Alan, has been relentless in his search for answers. He’s not just doing it for himself but also for his late wife, Mary, who passed away in 2018 without knowing what happened to their son. Alan believes that the stress of not knowing contributed to her illness.
