A former police officer has been arrested on suspicion of stalking and released on bail as investigations continue into the allegations.
West Yorkshire: So, here’s the scoop. A former police officer from Devon got himself into some hot water over stalking claims. The West Yorkshire Police called for his arrest after some serious allegations came to light.
Along with a woman, he was taken in by the Devon and Cornwall Police, who were acting on behalf of West Yorkshire. They’re looking into reports of stalking and harassment that supposedly happened between late August and early September last year.
According to a spokesperson, both the 55-year-old man and the 38-year-old woman from Newquay were arrested on December 27. But don’t worry, they’ve been released on bail while the investigation rolls on.
