Authorities are looking into reports of pyrotechnics being thrown in Fishguard, raising concerns among local residents about safety and noise
Fishguard: So, there was this wild incident in Fishguard where some guys were throwing these loud crow bangers around. It all went down just before 11 PM on a Friday night.
A local called the police after a group tried to toss one of those noisy bangers inside his place. Luckily, he managed to shut the door before they could get in.
These bangers are super loud, like a shotgun, and are usually used to scare birds away from crops. The noise really worried the caller, especially for the elderly folks nearby.
When the police showed up, the troublemakers had already skedaddled, so they couldn’t catch them. They’re still looking into what happened, though.
The next night, there were more police around Fishguard, but it was just part of a planned operation, not because of the previous night’s chaos.
During that operation, six officers checked out businesses in Fishguard and nearby towns to make sure everything was safe and sound for the night out.
