A police investigation is underway in Glasgow after reports of a disturbance and possible serious assault in the city center
Glasgow: A street in the city center is currently taped off as police look into a report of a disturbance and a possible serious assault.
Officers rushed to Jamaica Street in the Four Corners area after getting a call around 3:30 AM on January 8. They’re still on the scene but haven’t found anyone involved yet.
The road is closed for now, but businesses are still open, and you can access Midland Street from Jamaica Street without any issues.
Sergeant David McIntosh thanked the public for their patience while the investigation is ongoing. He urged anyone who saw something suspicious early this morning to reach out to the police.
