After three weeks of searching, police have ended their efforts to find two sisters missing in Aberdeen, but investigations continue in other areas.
The sisters, both 32 and originally from Hungary, sparked a major search operation after they were reported missing. Sadly, police announced that after thorough searches of the river and harbor, they are concluding that part of the investigation.
However, they’re still looking for the sisters in coastal areas around Aberdeen. It’s been a tough time for their family, and the police are doing everything they can to find them.
The last known movements of Eliza and Henrietta showed them heading towards the Aberdeen Boat Club. They were seen the day before at the same bridge, and their landlady raised the alarm after receiving a concerning text from Henrietta.
All their belongings were found at home, which has left their family puzzled. Their brother mentioned that everything seemed normal before they disappeared.
The sisters had been living in the UK for six years and were working in Aberdeen. Police have looked into their background, but everything seemed fine.
Superintendent David Howieson expressed his concern for the family during this difficult time. He reassured the public that there’s no evidence of foul play. Anyone with information is encouraged to reach out to the police.
