Merseyside: So, get this! Cops caught a driver who thought it was a good idea to stick their head out the window while driving. Why? Because their windscreen was totally covered in snow!

The police were not impressed and said this kind of behavior is just not okay. They shared a pic on social media showing the driver hanging out like Ace Ventura. You know, the Jim Carrey character who did the same thing in that classic movie?

They even mentioned that it’s pretty wild to see someone driving like that. The police had to remind everyone that you really need to clear your windscreen before hitting the road.

Edmund King from the AA chimed in too, saying this is way more dangerous than just scraping a little hole to see out. He pointed out that it only takes about ten minutes to clear the snow. Or, if you have an electric car, you can just preheat it!

By the way, if you don’t clear your windscreen properly, you could end up with a £60 fine and some penalty points on your license. This week, the police also warned everyone to be extra careful while driving in the snow.

They shared some photos of a crash that happened recently, but thankfully, no one was seriously hurt. Just a reminder to keep safe out there!
