Plymouth: Here’s what’s happening with roadworks this week.

On Sunday, February 2, Laira Bridge Road will be closed from Heles Terrace to Elliot Road from 8 am to 5 pm for tree pollarding. Tavistock Road will have one lane closed from Great Berry Road to Manadon footbridge from 8 am to 1 pm for signage works.

From Monday, February 3 to Friday, February 7, Blandford Road will have two-way signals from number 440 to number 483, operating 24 hours a day for drainage works. Briardale Road will be closed from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm for tree pollarding.

Chapel Street in Greenbank will be closed 24 hours a day from February 3 to April 11 for demolition works. Floyd Close will also be closed on February 3 and 4 from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm for tree pollarding.

On February 3, Grand Parade and Great Western Road will be closed between Radford Road and Custom House Lane from 9:30 am to midday for patching. North Hill will have two-way signals at the Deptford Place junction from February 3 to February 17, operating 24 hours a day for gas mains works.

Plymbridge Road will be closed between The George park and ride and Buena Vista Drive from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm on February 3 for patching. Sea View Avenue will also be closed from 7 am to 6 pm on the same day for patching.

On February 4 and 5, Beatrice Avenue will be closed between Beatrice Avenue Lane and Station Road, then between Station Road and College Road from 7 am to 6 pm for patching. Exmouth Road will be closed between Albert Road and Portland Road during the same hours for tree pollarding.

Old Laira Road will have two-way signals near Brandon Road junction from February 4 to February 10 from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm for fibre cable works. Tavistock Road will have one lane closed outside Jack Rabbit pub from 8 pm to 6 am on February 4 and 5 for underground cabling.

Dingle Road will be closed from February 5 to February 11 from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm for tree pollarding. Mannamead Road will have two-way signals near Thorn Park junction from February 5 to 6 from 7 pm to 5 am for footway works.

Tavistock Road will have two-way signals opposite Boundary Cottage from February 5 to 7 from 7 pm to 6 am for vegetation works related to the Woolwell to The George scheme.

On February 6 and 7, Bampton Road/Barnstaple Close will have a suspension of the 7.5T weight limit from 7 pm to 6 am for manhole cover repairs on Forder Valley Road. Barton Avenue will be closed between College Road and Station Road, then between College Road and St Levan Road, and finally between Station Road and Parkside from 7 am to 6 pm for patching.

Exmouth Road will be closed between Devonport Road and Paradise Road from 9 am to 3 pm on February 6 for vegetation works. Forder Valley Road will be closed between Forder Valley roundabout and Wilburt Road from 7 pm to 6 am for manhole cover repairs.

Pomphlett Road will have one lane closed on approach to Billacombe Roundabout from 6:30 pm to 9 pm on February 6 for street lighting works.

On February 8 and 9, Haddington Road will be closed at the railway bridge from 11 pm to 6 am for vegetation removal. Wolseley Road will be closed outside number 843 from 8 am to 4 pm on February 8 for pole renewal.

There are also ongoing works in various locations, including Basket Ope, Beaumont Road, and Central Park Avenue, which will affect traffic until mid-April. Be sure to check local updates for the latest information on road conditions.
