Plymouth: This week, the local court was busy with a range of cases. Shoplifters, reckless drivers, and even some folks causing a ruckus were all in attendance.

Interestingly, two brothers found themselves in court during the same week. Sam got a slap on the wrist for stealing a jacket, while Tommy ended up behind bars for assaulting an ambulance worker.

There were quite a few driving offenses too. Stephen Wills, 62, drove without insurance and got fined. Luke Jones, 23, had a rough time with the law after dangerous driving led to a suspended jail sentence.

Then there’s Armand Lleshi, who drove while disqualified. He got a conditional discharge but still has to sit out a year without driving.

Some cases were more serious, like Thomas Archer, who was caught driving under the influence. He’s now facing a 22-month driving ban.

And let’s not forget about the speeding cases. Mason Millard, 21, was caught riding his motorbike too fast and ended up with points on his record.

There were also some folks who didn’t comply with court orders. Joshua Wilson, 25, breached a domestic violence protection order and got 21 days in jail.

In the realm of shoplifting, Michael Maloney, 47, had quite the shopping spree at Primark and Footlocker, but it didn’t end well for him.

Overall, it was a busy week for Plymouth Magistrates’ Court, with a mix of serious and not-so-serious offenses keeping everyone on their toes.
