Hartlepool is set to enhance its Town Hall Theatre with new lighting equipment to improve the venue’s functionality and aesthetics
Hartlepool: Exciting news for the Town Hall Theatre! Plans are in the works to install new lighting equipment. This upgrade is all about making the venue better for everyone.
The proposals have been sent to the Hartlepool Development Corporation. They want to replace the old lighting gantry and add some sturdy steelwork. The theatre, which is a grade II listed building, just reopened after some essential repairs.
Recently, they did a thorough check on the building’s condition. During this process, they removed some outdated lighting rigs. Now, they need to put in new, lightweight lighting to keep things modern and functional.
Right now, there are temporary lights set up on the balconies. But the new plans promise a proper lighting setup that will make the theatre a great place for performances.
