They want to build a new ambulance station in Hull. Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) made the plans to change an old store into a station on Sissons Way, near Clough Road. Hull already has stations in other areas, including East Hull, West Hull, and Sutton Fields.

The plans went to Hull City Council where the site will offer eighty-five parking spots to hold all YAS vehicles. Twenty-four spaces exist for staff parking, with spaces for night crews having priority, and three spaces are for blue badge holders.

A YAS person talked about the plans aiming for better care in Hull and improved staff facilities. Hull is a main focus for YAS investment, as some current stations need work with better patient care being the main objective.

The new station offers more space and modern features are part of the plan where they will also prepare ambulances. The station will work with current points which help crews reach patients quickly, while Hull City Council will review the application.
