Torfaen County Borough Council has received several new planning applications recently, covering various projects across the area.
Cwmbran: So, the latest buzz from Torfaen County Borough Council is all about new planning applications. They’ve got a bunch of interesting projects lined up.
First off, there’s a plan for a new industrial unit next to Unit 88 at Springvale Industrial Estate. Mark Jones from LMS Ltd is behind this one, and it’ll include some landscaping too.
Then, Lynette Long wants to add a front porch and a toilet to her home on Twmpath Road in Pontypool. Sounds like a cozy upgrade!
Over in Griffithstown, Steven Davies is looking to install an air source heat pump at his place. It’s a great way to go green and save on energy bills.
Melin Homes has also put in a request for some tree work at Kinnock Court in Cwmbran. They’re planning to do some coppicing and pruning to keep things tidy.
Speaking of trees, Matthew Neve wants to remove quite a few at his home in Trellech. He’s looking to take down 15 leylandii trees and a few others. That’s a big job!
Amy Jones is also getting in on the action with a pruning application for a yew tree at her home in Abersychan. She needs to trim it back a bit since it’s getting too close to her property.
Lastly, Harri Jenkins is planning to install an air source heat pump at the Old Police Station in Blaenavon. And there’s even a proposal to convert a swimming pool building into a bungalow at Ty-trappa Farm in Cwmbran. Exciting times ahead!
