Someone died on train tracks in the South West. This happened near Chippenham and Bath Spa around 2 PM on February 5th. Emergency services went to the railway line after receiving reports of a person hurt.

Trains stopped between the two stations, prompting police and paramedics to attend the scene. A British Transport Police spokesperson confirmed the death. They said a person died there, and the death is not considered suspicious at this time.

A report will be prepared for the coroner. The British Transport Police shared details, stating that officers were dispatched to the line around 2 PM, situated between Bath and Chippenham, responding to a casualty report. Paramedics also arrived on scene.

Sadly, a person was pronounced dead. Due to the incident seeming non-suspicious, they will quickly prepare a coroner’s report. Trains continue to face delays following this event.
