Edinburgh: A sad incident unfolded in the city when a pensioner passed away near the Omni Centre. Emergency services rushed to the scene after reports came in about a man feeling unwell on a bus.
This happened around 5:30 PM on Saturday. Sadly, despite the quick response from ambulance crews, the 70-year-old was pronounced dead right there. It seems he just took a turn for the worse, and thankfully, there’s no indication of anything suspicious.
As a result of the situation, Edinburgh Trams warned folks heading to the airport to expect some delays. Lothian Buses also let passengers know that there would be diversions around Leith Street due to the road closure.
