Barry is one of eleven finalists in the British Contemporary Art Awards 2025. The awards are all about showcasing the best in British art, and it’s exciting to see him recognized.

Originally from Neyland, Barry joined the Army at just 16. He served for over 23 years, traveling to places like Hong Kong, Korea, and Kosovo. His experiences have deeply influenced his art.
As an abstract artist, Barry’s work tells stories and reflects on memories and truths from his life. He combines text and imagery, creating pieces that resonate with many.
Barry also founded the VC Gallery, which helps veterans and the community through art. They offer workshops, communal meals, and support to improve well-being.
