Fishguard: The town really knows how to throw a party! Thousands gathered to ring in 2025 at the New Year’s Eve street bash.

This year marked the 25th anniversary of the event, and it was a blast. People filled Fishguard Square for a night packed with fun, music, and a stunning fireworks show.

Attendees enjoyed tunes from the local band Tongue ‘n Groove and the popular Take That tribute band, Rule The World. The fireworks display was the cherry on top!

One partygoer shared with the Western Telegraph, “It was a fantastic event, with a great vibe and folks of all ages celebrating together.”

They also mentioned how well-organized the event was, with some even traveling from overseas to join in the fun.

For the little ones, there was a kids zone set up in the town hall, ensuring everyone had something to enjoy.

Plus, there was a raffle, with part of the proceeds going to Shalom House, which offers free palliative care to Pembrokeshire residents facing serious illnesses.

Despite a bit of wind and rain, the night was described as “fantabulous” by the organizers.

They expressed gratitude to the amazing bands, the local venues, and all the volunteers who made the event possible.

“A huge thank you to everyone for your support! We hope you had as much fun as we did!” they added.
