Stourport-on-Severn: A 62-year-old man named Julian Davis has been sentenced to 32 months in prison after police found some really disturbing stuff in his car. They discovered handcuffs, cable ties, and baby wipes, which raised serious alarms about his intentions.

Davis was caught by the West Mercia Police’s Online Child Sexual Exploitation Team during an operation on December 4. He was arrested in Worcester and later charged with trying to engage in sexual communication with a child, among other serious offenses.

When officers searched his vehicle, they found a whip, lubricant, amphetamines, Viagra, and mobile phones, which they seized for further investigation. It was a shocking haul that clearly indicated his sick intentions.

After being charged, he was released on bail with strict conditions, including not contacting anyone under 18. Thankfully, the police acted quickly, and he was found guilty of multiple charges related to child exploitation.

Detective Constable Richard Britton expressed relief that they could stop Davis before he could harm a child. He emphasized the importance of their operation and the need to protect vulnerable individuals from such offenders.

Now, Davis will be on the sex offenders register indefinitely and is subject to a lifetime sexual harm prevention order. If you suspect any online child abuse, it’s crucial to report it to the authorities immediately.
