Overnight Road Closures in Kent This Week: M20, M25, and More

Kent: A new week means more overnight roadworks. Drivers need to stay alert. Closures usually happen from 8 PM to 6 AM to minimize disruption.

This week, work is scheduled on the A2, A20, M2, M20, M25, and M26. The M20 will close coastbound between Junctions 2 and 4 for four nights for CCTV upgrades.

More closures on the M20 near Maidstone will continue throughout February. The Dartford Crossing will also have tunnel closures this week, affecting the west tunnel from Monday to Saturday and the east tunnel on Sunday.

Additionally, the M26 will close eastbound between Junction 2a and the M20 for maintenance. In Sittingbourne, expect delays due to improvement works on the A249 at the Grovehurst junction.

Monday, February 3

• The A20 westbound will close from Junction 13 to Alkham Valley for tunnel maintenance.
• The M2 westbound will shut from Junction 6 to Junction 5 for bridge works.
• The M2 will close in both directions at Junction 4 for structural works.
• The M20 eastbound will close from Junction 2 to Junction 4 for CCTV maintenance.
• The M20 westbound will have lanes one and two closed between Junctions 2 and 1 for drainage works.
• The M20 westbound Junction 2 entry slip will close for CCTV clearance.
• The M25 clockwise from Junction 2 to Junction 3 will close for joint replacement works.
• The M25 anti-clockwise from Junction 5 to the A21 link road will close for CCTV works.
• The M25 anti-clockwise will close from Junction 6 to Junction 5 for scheme works.
• The M26 eastbound will close from Junction 2a to the M20 for maintenance.

• The A2 westbound Gate Services exit slip will close for white lining works.
• The A20 westbound will close from Junction 13 to Alkham Valley for tunnel maintenance.

• The A282 northbound West Tunnel at the Dartford Crossing will close for maintenance.
• The M25 Junction 3 roundabout north deck will close for waterproofing works.

Sunday, February 9

• The A282 northbound Dartford Crossing east tunnel will close for maintenance. Vehicles under 4.8m will be diverted via the west tunnel.
• The M25 Junction 3 roundabout north deck will close for waterproofing works.
• The M25 clockwise Junction 5 link road will close for technology repairs.
