A recent survey reveals that many Brits feel their meals are boring and lack inspiration, especially when using air fryers
London: A new study shows that many Brits think their meals are pretty dull. Over a third of people say they’re stuck in a rut, cooking the same old dishes. Almost one in five admit they just can’t find new ideas for exciting meals.
Interestingly, while 76% of air fryer owners use their gadgets at least three times a week, a quarter feel they could really amp up the flavors. The research, done by Schwartz, found that 88% of folks think seasonings are super important. Yet, 44% usually stick to basic meal prep and don’t try anything fancy.
It seems like the intense heat of air fryers can zap the flavor out of seasonings, leaving meals a bit lackluster. Despite the demand for quick meals with bold flavors, many are still playing it safe.
Schwartz’s Hayley Napier-Barrs pointed out that while air fryers are loved for their convenience, it’s easy to fall back on the same boring meals that just don’t excite the taste buds anymore.
As the January blues hit and festive feasts fade, Schwartz is encouraging people to shake things up. With 67% of respondents saying they want to feel more adventurous in the kitchen, they’ve launched new seasonings designed to elevate everyday meals.
To showcase how these new seasonings can transform air-fried dishes, Schwartz invited a couple, Sam and Elle, to experience a simulated air fryer adventure. They took a spin in an indoor sky-diving wind tunnel to see how the new seasonings could bring flavor back to their meals.
Interestingly, a third of people feel unsure about using herbs and spices, fearing they might ruin their favorite recipes. But with Schwartz’s new seasonings, they can confidently add flavor to chicken, chips, and veggies without worry.
Napier-Barrs added that Sam and Elle really embraced the challenge, showing how exciting cooking can be with the right seasonings. Schwartz’s Air Fryer seasonings are available at major retailers like Tesco and Asda, priced at £2.50.
