Bedwas: It’s heartbreaking to hear about those two German Shepherds left out in the cold. They were found on a freezing mountainside, and it’s just awful. People spotted them and rushed to help, but can you imagine how scared they must have been?

Good folks spent hours trying to catch them. They were so frightened and underweight, looking like they hadn’t been cared for in ages. One of the rescuers, Ryan, was just taking his dogs to the vet when he saw a post online asking for help. He jumped right in to assist.

When Ryan got there, the dogs were in terrible shape. He described them as dirty and malnourished, and they wouldn’t come near anyone. It took a group effort to finally corner them and gain their trust. Ryan even had to lasso one of them to get close. It’s amazing how people came together for these poor pups.

After a long struggle, they finally got the dogs into Ryan’s car and took them to Hope Rescue. The staff there said the dogs need a lot of grooming and care, but they’re hopeful they’ll recover. They’ve named the black dog Lois and the tan one Clark, and it sounds like they’re really bonded.

It’s so sad to think this isn’t the first time animals have been abandoned this year. The rescue center is urging anyone who’s struggling to care for their pets to reach out for help instead of leaving them behind. It’s just not right, and it’s tough on everyone involved.

Despite the distressing situation, the community really came together to help these dogs. It’s heartwarming to see how much support they’ve received. Hope Rescue is also looking for any information about how the dogs ended up in such a bad state. If anyone knows anything, they’re encouraged to reach out.
