Nottingham Road in Chaddesden will see overnight roadworks for eight weeks, starting February 3. Expect diversions and traffic delays.
Derby: Major roadworks are starting on Nottingham Road this week. The project will last eight weeks and may disrupt drivers. Overnight closures will begin on Monday, February 3.
The road will be resurfaced overnight to reduce disruption. Work hours are from 10 PM to 6 AM, Monday to Friday, until the end of March.
Drivers will see diversion signs along the A52 during the work. The project will happen in stages, with closures affecting different road sections.
Here’s the plan for the phases: Phase 1 is at Chaddesden Park Road junction. Phase 2 covers the service road to Chaddesden Lane. Phase 3 is from Chaddesden Lane to Sunny Grove, and so on.
Councillor Carmel Swan from Derby City Council said they aim to improve transport infrastructure. She acknowledged the disruption for residents but assured them they are working to minimize it.
