Kilsby Williams has appointed Anne Smith as a partner, enhancing their tax expertise and client services in Newport and beyond
Newport: A tax and accountancy firm in Newport has just made a big move. Kilsby Williams has brought Anne Smith on board as a new partner. She’s got quite the background, having been a tax partner at Watts Gregory LLP before this.
Anne kicked off her career at KPMG, where she became a chartered accountant and later a chartered tax adviser. She’s also involved with the Chartered Institute of Taxation in South Wales, so she knows her stuff when it comes to tax planning.
Her expertise covers a lot of ground, from corporate sales and purchases to international business restructuring. She’s been helping small and medium-sized businesses with succession planning and estate advice for over 20 years.
Anne expressed her excitement about joining Kilsby Williams, saying it’s an honor to be part of such a well-respected team. She’s eager to share her knowledge with the firm’s growing client base.
Simon Tee, the managing partner, is equally thrilled. He believes Anne’s experience will really boost their services as they prepare for upcoming tax changes. Kilsby Williams has been around since 1991, serving clients not just in South Wales but all over the UK and even globally.
