Newport City Council has validated several new planning applications recently
Newport: So, Newport City Council has been busy lately with a bunch of new planning applications. They just validated a few this past week, and here’s the scoop.
First up, there’s a request from Mr. Haydn Ross for Pepys Grove. He wants to change the land use to residential and keep a fence up. Sounds like a cozy spot!
Then, Miss Victoria Warland is looking to make some internal changes at Tredegar House Museum. It’s a Grade I listed building, so they’re aiming to improve safety while keeping its charm.
Over at Gwent Car Sales on Crawford Street, Mr. Jon Moore is planning to build three flats with parking. That should help with the housing situation in the area.
George Michalatos has also put in a request for Ridgeway Avenue. He wants to install some letterbox shutters at his shop. Practical move, I’d say!
On Risca Road, P Harris is looking to add an external disabled lift to the front of a building. That’s a great step towards accessibility.
And let’s not forget about Llandegfedd Close, where C Quaite is planning to do some pruning on an oak tree that’s protected by a Tree Preservation Order. Gotta keep those trees healthy!
Lastly, there’s a conversion project at Coc-Y-North Bungalow. Williams wants to turn a barn into a dwelling with a rear extension. Sounds like a lovely renovation!
