A campaign by Jack Daniel’s is shaking up holiday music with fresh tracks, as many seek new festive sounds beyond the traditional classics.
London: So, it turns out that more than half of us sing along to Christmas songs, even if we find them a bit annoying. While we still love the classics, a whopping 65% of folks are eager for some new festive tunes. It seems like people want a holiday soundtrack that’s a bit more diverse and fresh.
To shake things up, Jack Daniel’s is teaming up with up-and-coming artists Lemzi and CHAR to whip up some original holiday songs in different genres. This cool initiative is all about encouraging everyone to explore new sounds and capture the real feelings of the season, moving away from the same old holiday music we hear every year.
Lemzi’s song is all about connection and resilience during the holidays. He talks about being there for loved ones and the importance of coming home. His lyrics really hit home, saying things like, “It’s been a heavy year, and I can see you’re feeling hampered.” It’s a reminder that no one should feel alone during this time.
Then there’s CHAR, whose track is all about the energy of the season. With lines like “It might be cold out but at least we’re gonna dance,” she captures that spontaneous celebration vibe. It’s all about making new traditions and having fun with friends, old and new.
The Jack Daniel’s Festive Remix campaign really gets that while we love our traditional holiday tunes, there’s a big desire for new sounds that reflect how the season is changing. If you want to keep up with the latest, check out #JDFestiveRemix on Instagram!
