The owner, Ryan Barns, was just getting his business off the ground since June, and now he’s looking at thousands of pounds in repairs. He found out about the damage when someone from the industrial estate told him about a smashed window. At first, he thought it was just storm damage, but then he walked in and the whole place smelled like diesel.
Ryan was pretty shaken up. He even said he wasn’t sure how the fire didn’t spread more. Maybe the rain helped put it out? His office was a mess, with his bin melted to the floor and parts of his furniture ruined. And his Ford Focus RS? They smashed the window and poured petrol inside. He’s looking at around £7,000 to £8,000 in damage to the car alone.
