Police have launched a murder investigation following the discovery of a man’s body in a Derby flat, with two suspects arrested.
Derby: So, here’s the scoop. A murder investigation is in full swing after a man was found dead in a flat. This all went down in Witney Close, Allenton, around 1:45 PM on Thursday.
The guy was in his 40s, and sadly, he was pronounced dead right there at the scene. His family has been notified, which is just heartbreaking. Two men in their 50s were arrested on suspicion of murder and are still in custody.
According to the Derbyshire police, they’re really looking for any info that could help them out. They’ve got a scene set up in Witney Close and will be around for a few days. They’re especially interested in any CCTV footage from the area, particularly from Glossop Street, Crowshaw Street, and Abingdon Street, between 1:45 PM on Thursday and 11 PM the day before.
