A fundraiser is underway to bring home the body of Robby Kinlan, who died unexpectedly in Thailand at just 21 years old
Robby died unexpectedly on January 10. He was living his best life, enjoying scuba diving and freediving in the beautiful waters of Thailand. His friend, Aleksandra Guziuk, started a fundraiser to support his mother, Tracy King, during this tough time.
Tracy shared her heartbreak on social media, saying, “RIP to my precious son Robby. He is resting in a beautiful Temple in Koh Tao, Thailand before his removal back to Ireland.” She expressed her gratitude for the kindness shown to her family.
Aleksandra mentioned how Robby was more than just a friend; he was a bright light in everyone’s life. He always put others first and was truly happy in Thailand, doing what he loved. The fundraiser has already surpassed its goal of €25,000, with many generous donations coming in.
Aleksandra added that any support, no matter how small, would mean a lot to Robby’s family during this incredibly hard time. Just last week, another Munster family faced tragedy when Damien Kavanagh was found dead in Wales, highlighting the challenges families face when dealing with loss abroad.
