Birkenhead: It’s been four long years since Carol Mighall vanished. Her family is still searching for answers. Last seen on January 4, 2021, she was spotted in a corner shop buying a bottle of vodka and some cigarettes.

Carol, who’s now 55, was wearing a khaki coat with a fur hood, blue jeans, and trainers. She was last seen heading towards the train station. Her family describes her as a white woman, about 5ft 4in tall, with brown hair often in a ponytail.

Despite the time that has passed, her loved ones are still in the dark. Merseyside Police confirmed she’s still listed as missing, but there haven’t been any new leads. Carol’s daughter, Kayleigh, shared how close they were, saying they were like shadows to each other.

Kayleigh expressed the pain her kids feel every time they see their grandma’s picture. They all miss her dearly. She wishes Carol would just reach out, even if it’s not to come home. They just want to know she’s okay.

Carol has five children and nine grandchildren who have been searching for her since she disappeared. They’re hoping for any sign of her, and they just want her to know they’re not angry. They just want her back.

If anyone has seen Carol or knows where she might be, they’re encouraged to contact Missing People at 116 000. Every bit of information helps.
