Sabrina Lyttle, 47, was discovered dead in a Blackpool restaurant’s restroom two days after her visit, prompting an inquest into her death.
Her mother, Catherine, shared that Sabrina had entered the restaurant on November 28, but it wasn’t until two days later that her body was discovered. It’s heartbreaking to think that patrons had trouble accessing one of the cubicles, not knowing someone was inside.
The police were called to the scene on November 30, around 1 PM. Catherine posted on Facebook, expressing her shock and waiting for the post-mortem results to find out what happened.
Lancashire Constabulary confirmed they found a woman in her 40s and stated that the death isn’t being treated as suspicious. They’re preparing a file for the coroner, which is standard in such cases.
An inquest is set for April 3 at Blackpool Town Hall. It’s a tough time for the family, and our thoughts are with them.
In a related note, there’s been another sad incident where a woman’s body was found in a canal in Calderdale. Police are investigating that case too, hoping to gather more information.
