The family of 17-year-old Max Greenhouse mourns his tragic loss in a car accident, leaving them heartbroken and seeking support.
Aughton: It’s just heartbreaking. Max Greenhouse, only 17, lost his life in a car crash last month. He was a passenger when the car veered off the road and hit a farm building. It happened on Fir Tree Lane around 9 PM on December 11.
Max was rushed to the hospital but sadly didn’t make it. His family described him as a “beautiful boy” who was “truly adored.” They’ve set up a memorial page to honor him, saying he’ll always be remembered.
His parents shared their grief, saying, “We are beyond broken.” They reminisced about how much joy he brought into their lives since the day he was born. Each day without him feels heavier, and they miss everything about him.
Friends have also shared their memories. Joe Cunningham expressed how much he misses Max and how he was always there to help him through tough times. Liverpool fans even honored Max during a match, holding a flag in his memory.
They’re collecting donations for RoadPeace, a charity that supports victims of road crashes, and have already raised over £3,500. Max was a huge Liverpool FC fan, and during a recent match, fans held a moment of applause in the 17th minute to remember him.
It’s just so sad to see a young life cut short like this. The love and support from the community show how much Max was cherished.
