Plymouth: A tragic incident occurred when Rosemary Wooldridge, a 60-year-old woman, was involved in a car crash on Ham Drive. The inquest revealed that she was driving when another vehicle struck hers head-on.

The coroner, Alison Longhorn, shared that Rosemary was a housewife and lived in Ham Drive. Sadly, she suffered severe injuries and died at the scene. The driver of the other car had initially fled but was later found and arrested.

The police confirmed that the vehicles involved were a grey Audi and a silver Ford Fiesta. The man arrested is in his 30s and is suspected of causing death by dangerous driving. He was taken to the hospital for his injuries and remains on bail as investigations continue.

After Rosemary’s passing, many from the darts community, where she was well-known, paid tribute to her. Plymouth City Council has also offered to hold the full inquest locally for family and friends who wish to attend.
