Hillsborough: So, this shopper named Victoria Leyton walked into her local Morrisons and was totally shocked. Instead of finding Christmas goodies, she saw Easter eggs on the shelves. Can you believe it?

Victoria, who’s 40, was really hoping to grab some post-Christmas treats. She said, “I’m gutted to see they have all disappeared. Where are my clearance Selection Boxes?” It’s like, come on, let us enjoy the last bits of Christmas!

She went on to say it’s just disappointing to see Easter stuff out already, especially when it’s still over 100 days away. “Life feels quick enough without a time jump to Easter in December,” she added.

And she’s not alone. Other shoppers have also been venting their frustrations on social media. One person even asked, “Why are they showing Easter eggs? We haven’t even got over December or New Year!”

Another shopper chimed in, saying it’s disgraceful and predicted that by the end of January, they’ll be pushing barbecue food. It’s wild how fast they move on!

Some folks are really upset about this early Easter marketing, but others are defending the stores. One person mentioned that people like to plan ahead, and a truck driver said he’s been delivering Easter eggs right after Christmas for years.

Victoria kind of agreed with that, saying, “Fair play to anyone who shops in advance, but they’re not even a good deal!” It’s a mixed bag of opinions for sure.

Morrisons has been contacted for a comment and confirmed that Easter eggs are now available in all their stores. So, if you’re in the mood for some early Easter shopping, you know where to go!
