Authorities are searching for 17-year-old Alan Hiwa, who vanished after taking a train from Penrith to Glasgow
Cumbria: A teenager has gone missing after hopping on a train. Alan Hiwa, just 17, was last spotted at Penrith Railway Station around 2:30 PM on Saturday, January 11.
He was supposed to head to Carlisle but ended up going all the way to Glasgow. That’s quite a journey for a young guy!
Alan is about 5 feet 9 inches tall and has black hair. When he was last seen, he was wearing a black Rodeel jacket with some white writing on it, a shiny black bodywarmer, black tracksuit bottoms, and black trainers.
Cumbria Police are asking for help. They said, “Have you seen missing Alan Hiwa? He was last seen at Penrith Train Station at 2:30 PM yesterday.”
They believe he got on a train to Carlisle but then continued north to Glasgow. If anyone has seen him or knows where he might be, they should reach out to the police.
