Aberdeen: It’s been three weeks since twin sisters Eliza and Henrietta Huszti went missing. Police Scotland has been searching hard, but they haven’t found any leads yet. The search in the River Dee has been called off.

The sisters, both 32, were last seen near Victoria Bridge. They are part of a set of triplets. Police have searched the river, the city’s harbor, and nearby coastal areas, but sadly, there’s been no sign of them.

Authorities are asking for help. If anyone has seen Eliza or Henrietta, they want to hear from you. So far, there’s no evidence of foul play in their disappearance.

On December 31, their triplet sister, Edit, spoke with them. She said they sounded happy. Then, on January 4, their brother Jozsef had a normal chat with them before they went missing.

On January 6, CCTV caught Eliza and Henrietta walking near Victoria Bridge around 2:50 p.m. They were seen with rucksacks, heading back to their flat later that day.

Early on January 7, they were spotted again on CCTV. They texted their landlady, saying they wouldn’t return home. That was the last time anyone saw them.

The next day, their landlady found their belongings in the flat and called the police. A major search began, including divers in the River Dee, which was partially frozen.

On January 14, Superintendent David Howieson held a press conference. He said there’s no evidence of criminal activity in their case. Search efforts continued, focusing on the possibility that the sisters may have entered the water.

By January 27, police announced that searches of the river were over. They are now looking in coastal areas around Aberdeen. The public is still being asked for any information that could help.
