Armadale: A white Mercedes was stolen right from a driveway in West Lothian. It happened on Baird Road, and the police are on the case.

The car, a Mercedes GLC 250D, was taken around 6 PM on January 8. It seems the thieves used a keyless entry method to get away with it.

Witnesses reported seeing a flatbed truck with two black stripes on the bonnet in the area. This truck was spotted just before the theft, which is pretty suspicious.

Two guys in hi-viz jackets were also seen nearby. After the theft, the flatbed drove off along Bridgecastle Road, heading towards Armadale Cross.

The police are asking anyone who might have seen something unusual to come forward. They’re especially interested in any CCTV or dash-cam footage that could help.

If you have any info, you can reach out to Police Scotland at 101 and mention incident number 0710 from January 9, 2025. Every little bit helps!
