Meghan Markle reportedly wrote to King Charles expressing her concerns about the different rules applied to her within the Royal Family
London: Since they stepped back from royal duties in 2020, Harry and Meghan have been pretty open about their struggles. From that big Oprah interview to their Netflix series, they’ve shared a lot. And let’s not forget Harry’s book, ‘Spare,’ which dropped last year.
Even with some backlash from the public, it looks like they’re trying to sort things out privately too. Royal expert Neil Sean mentioned that Meghan wrote a letter to King Charles. She’s not happy about the different rules she feels apply to her compared to other royals.
In a video, Sean said Meghan wanted to meet with the King to talk about her experiences since joining the family. She’s looking for some answers and clarity on the challenges she’s faced. Apparently, she’s been trying to set up a one-on-one meeting with him.
What really seems to bother Meghan is that other royals, like Fergie, can pop up on shows and promote themselves while she feels restricted. It’s like she’s questioning why the rules are different for her.
Since stepping back, Meghan and Harry have been living in their Montecito home in California with their kids, Archie and Lilibet. Even though it’s Harry’s home country, Meghan hasn’t been back to the UK much, with her last visit being for the Queen’s funeral in September 2022.
Harry, on the other hand, has made several trips back this year without Meghan and the kids. His latest visit was for the Wellchild Awards in October, but he didn’t meet up with his dad or brother during that trip.
