Newport: Every Monday, we celebrate the latest little ones joining our community. It’s a heartwarming tradition that brings smiles all around.

If you’ve welcomed a new baby recently, we’d love to hear from you! Just hop over to our New Arrivals page and fill out the simple form.

First up is Charlie Joshua Muir, born on November 26 at Grange University Hospital, weighing in at 7lb 10oz. After a C-section, he spent a week in the NICU but is now happily home with his family.

His parents, Georgia and Joshua, are thrilled, especially with big brothers Oliver and Harry around to help out.

Next, we have Gracie Mae Cording, who made her grand entrance on January 1, weighing 8lb 1oz. She’s the first child for Georgia O’Callaghan and Aled Cording from Blaenau Gwent.

Gracie was the seventh baby born on New Year’s Day at the Grange Hospital, and her parents couldn’t be happier. They’re so grateful for the support from the hospital staff, especially midwife Rebecca Clements.

Lastly, let’s meet Rosie Mary Carne, born on December 6, 2024, also at Grange University Hospital, weighing 8lb 10oz. She’s joining her parents, Annmarie and Michael, and big sister Carys at home in Newport.

Rosie’s arrival was quite the adventure, as she was in a tricky position before her emergency C-section. But now, she’s here, and her family is over the moon!
