A significant fire broke out in a Glasgow residence, sending thick smoke into the air and prompting a swift response from emergency services.
Glasgow: A big fire erupted in a house on Saturday afternoon. Emergency crews rushed to the scene on Fairbairn Path after getting calls about the flames around 4:41 PM.
Firefighters worked hard to control the blaze, which was clearly visible as it consumed the building. Smoke was pouring out of the roof, creating a dramatic scene.
Thick clouds of smoke filled the sky, making it quite a sight as the firefighters battled the fire. They sent three fire engines to tackle the situation.
As of now, it’s unclear if anyone was hurt in the incident. A spokesperson from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they were alerted at 4:41 PM and quickly mobilized to the location.
