Lhasa: So, you won’t believe what happened to Mark Williams during a snooker match! The Welsh star had to take oxygen right in the middle of it. Crazy, right?

He shared a pic on X, looking a bit worried with those nasal tubes on. He mentioned he thought he might just topple over during the first frame. Fans were quick to check in on him.

But don’t worry! Mark reassured everyone that he was okay. He explained that the oxygen was just a must because of the high altitude in Tibet.

He’s currently in Lhasa for the 2025 Tianren Cup Lhasa Winter Plateau Snooker Challenge. Just last week, he was in China for another event. Talk about a busy schedule!

At 15,000 feet up, it’s no wonder he needed some extra help. He joked with fans that if he didn’t use it, it would be “goodnight Irene.”

When one fan asked if he was aiming for a record-breaking 147 at Everest’s summit, he humorously replied that just staying upright was a win.

Other big names like Ding Junhui and Judd Trump are also in the mix for this exhibition. Trump even shared some cool snaps from his games on Instagram.
