A man with reddening eyes tried to abduct a three-year-old girl in Wolverhampton, causing alarm in the community and prompting a police investigation
Wolverhampton: So, there was this really scary incident where a man tried to grab a little girl. It happened around 5:15 PM on Leicester Street. The girl, just three years old, was outside with a relative when this guy approached her.
Luckily, her mom was there and stopped him before anything could happen. The man took off towards Harrow Street, and thankfully, the girl wasn’t hurt.
Police are on it, looking through CCTV footage and talking to people in the area. They’ve even stepped up patrols to keep everyone safe. Det Insp Nicola Pestel is urging anyone who might have seen something to come forward.
