Malvern Hills: Tobie Vermeire, a 29-year-old from Worcester, used to eat a staggering 35 Double Deckers a week. He was so heavy that he couldn’t even put on his socks. But now, he’s on a mission to become a professional boxer.

At his heaviest, Tobie weighed 26 stone. He realized he needed to change when he felt embarrassed about his size. He started his weight loss journey in September 2020, ditching fast food and focusing on boxing, a sport he loved.

Before, his daily meals were outrageous. He’d have two Domino’s pizzas for lunch, a takeaway for dinner, and snacks like Pringles and chocolate bars throughout the day. It was a lot of calories—around 10,000 a day!

After a year of hard work, Tobie has lost over 11 stone. He’s now down to 15 stone and is training hard to turn pro. He’s even started sharing his journey on social media to inspire others.

Tobie admits he was addicted to food, using it as a comfort. He’s turned his life around, feeling healthier and happier than ever. He’s excited about his future in boxing and can’t wait to see where this new path takes him.

Now, he’s focused on getting more fights under his belt and is determined to make his boxing dreams a reality. It’s been a huge transformation, and he’s proud of how far he’s come.
