Luke Littler, a young darts champion, will showcase his trophy at Old Trafford after his historic win
Manchester: So, guess what? Luke Littler, a die-hard Manchester United fan, is about to live the dream. After winning the World Darts Championship, he’s been invited to strut his stuff at Old Trafford.
This 17-year-old whiz kid just made history by becoming the youngest world champion ever. He beat Michael van Gerwen in the final, which is no small feat. Now, he’s set to show off the Sid Waddell Trophy at a United game.
On January 19, right before the match against Brighton, he’ll parade the trophy around the pitch. And get this, he’ll be fresh off competing in the World Series of Darts in Bahrain. Talk about a busy schedule!
After his big win, Luke was super excited. He mentioned how much he’d love to take the trophy to Old Trafford, and it looks like that’s happening. He even recalled how Michael Smith did something similar with his title.
Last year, Luke burst onto the darts scene at Alexandra Palace. He got a special invite to watch United play against Tottenham and even met the legendary Alex Ferguson. How cool is that?
He also got to hang out at the club’s training ground, where he took on some players in a nine-dart challenge. It’s safe to say this kid is living the dream!
