A serious assault near a primary school in Dumbarton left a man hospitalized, prompting police to investigate the incident.
Dumbarton: A man was seriously hurt in an attack close to a primary school. It all went down around 3:05 PM on January 6. Police found a 25-year-old guy on Cardross Road, right at the junction with Brucehill Road.
Emergency services were quick to respond, and he was taken to Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley. Thankfully, he got treated for his injuries and was later released.
This incident happened near St Michael’s Primary School, which makes it even more concerning. Detective Constable Nic Neeson mentioned that they’re still gathering details about what happened and trying to find the person responsible.
It’s a busy area, especially with a school nearby. They’re asking anyone who was around Cardross Road at that time to come forward if they saw anything. If you’ve got dashcam footage, they’d love to see it too.
