He explained that they were supposed to land at 8:55 PM. Instead, they circled DC before being diverted to Dulles Airport. Moyer noticed people murmuring as the captain announced an incident involving a helicopter.
He shared that they didn’t have enough fuel to keep circling. They landed about 15 minutes later. By then, passengers realized something serious had happened with another flight.
The man next to Moyer had a daughter who worked as a flight attendant. She was on the ill-fated flight from Wichita. Moyer felt he was close to a disaster, as the incident occurred just two minutes before their scheduled landing.
He expressed gratitude for his safety and hoped for survivors. Moyer ended his video with prayers for everyone on the flight and their families.
