Jordan Jones has been sentenced to eight years for abusing multiple victims in Edinburgh and Fife
Edinburgh: A man named Jordan Jones has been sentenced to eight years in prison for some truly awful acts of abuse. He targeted three young boys and one adult male over several years.
The abuse took place not just in Edinburgh but also in Fife and even the Outer Hebrides. One of the victims was just 12 years old when it all started, and he suffered for two long years.
Police got wind of the situation back in 2020 when they received a report about serious sexual offences. As they dug deeper, they found out there were more victims involved.
Detective Constable Karen Nairn described Jones as a predator who took advantage of children in the worst possible way. She hopes the victims can find some peace now that he’s behind bars.
She also emphasized that child abuse is completely unacceptable and encouraged anyone who has been a victim to come forward. The police are there to support them and ensure justice is served.
