A man has been charged following a serious crash in Wolverhampton that left a woman injured
Wolverhampton: So, there’s been quite a situation in Wolverhampton. A young guy named Layton Clenton ended up in court after a serious crash. This all went down on Stafford Road last September, and it left a woman with some pretty serious injuries.
Clenton, who’s just 18, is facing some hefty charges. They include causing serious injury by dangerous driving, taking a vehicle without permission, and driving without insurance. Oh, and he also didn’t stop after the crash and was driving while disqualified. Not a good look!
He showed up at Walsall Magistrates’ Court recently and is set to appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court next month. It’s a big deal, and the police are taking it seriously. They’ve made it clear that this incident is no joke.
It’s a reminder that driving comes with a lot of responsibility. Let’s hope everyone involved can find some resolution soon.
